Lovely little chachal medallions are hand cast in the Highlands of Guatemala. These are special. We noticed the artisans wife wearing a pair of these ands asked him to make these. These aren't generally available anyplace!

This is huipil made from a Colotenango huipil. A beautiful colorway. The dress is base is made from a thick and supple rayon called aleman which is prized for its drape. The cotton embroidery is very fine and the geometric designs are of typical Colotenango embroidery.

Its shown here worn as a tunic but would be great as a dress also. Please note the condition of the material in the photos. It is sturdy and any areas that need it have been reinforced. It is a gorgeous garment. The condition has been reflected in the price.
This poncho come from the very fashion conscious Zinacantan. Textiles are important here and the color motifs and even techniques appear to change dramatically every few years! This one is probably from the early 90's and is hand woven and extensively hand embroidered. This poncho has been handwoven and then embroidered with fabulous fanciful and sensual floral patterns. This bright color way is no longer produced making this a rare piece. The fringe at the bottom is fine and hand twisted.
These look lovely as wall hangings and can be simply hung with a dowel.
It measures 21 wide X 23" long not including the tassels.
