Each of these Rabari shawls has been made with such love and attention. These are from a tribe in Gujarat, India where the most exuberant and beautiful embroidery comes from. The shawls are 100% wool apart from the decoration. They are toasty warm and truly fetching. Great mirror work on this shawl.
This is a special piece. It is older than most on the market with the most wonderful fine cotton embroidery. The red dye is a gorgeous natural plant dye. The piece has mirrors throughout like constellations on the shawl, probably covering up small holes over time. This shawl does have some small moth holes.
measures 38 "X 98"
I'm firm on the price of this piece as a single item. There are few of these around now.
