Huge Amber Beaded Necklace. Mexican Amber. Dramatic and Gorgeous!

This is a magnificent necklace of graduated hand shaped pieces of Chiapas amber. The clasp and the heavy gauge beads are fine silver.

The weight is about 775g. This is an enormous amount of amber and large pieces with over 150g of fine silver (.95) beads
Unless new veins of amber are discovered I believe that amber of this size will not be available in the near future.

Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world. The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.
