Amber & Silver Beaded Necklace.

This is a stunning necklace of large hand-shaped pieces of natural Mexican amber and large sterling silver beads hand-crafted by the Karen Hill Tribe people of Thailand. The clasp is fine silver and the necklace is strung on heavy silk cord.

Length is 21.5" and it weighs 204 g.
It has about 50g of silver.

Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world. The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.
