A gorgeous handwoven huipil from the town of San Bartolo Yautepec on the coast of Oaxaca of hand spun cotton. Truly masterful weaving and a very special garment. Huipiles from this region are very difficult to come by.
The thread used to weave the garment by hand is also hand-dyed and hand-spun. This huipil is a masterpiece of an accomplished artisan.

The brown of the huipil is created using a plant dye made from mangrove trees.
