Huge Red Amber Necklace. Amber and Sterling Silver.

This is a magnificent necklace of graduated hand shaped pieces of red amber. Red amber is quite rare and highly prized. The clasp and beads are heavy gauge sterling silver.

Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world. The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.
