Love these! Hand painted hand carved wooden jaguar masks from Oaxaca. This is a tradition form of folk art in Oaxaca. These vibrantly painted animals are called Alebrijes. This one measures about 7.5”x 7.5”.
I can't get over these Rabari shawls! Each of them has been made with such love and attention. These are from a tribe in Gujarat, India where the most exuberant and beautiful embroidery comes from. The shawls are 100% wool apart from the decoration. They are toasty warm and truly fetching. The wool is dyed once and then tie dyed again to make the all over design.
This item is probably 30 years old, at least. It is very good condition. These may come with small holes or mended areas. Anything that is noticeable will be stated explicitly.
These are great over a sweater for cool weather or as a striking wall hanging or throw.
