Pinotepa Nacional Huipil. Coyuchi Cotton. Oaxaca, Mexico.

This is a gorgeous handwoven huipil from the Costa Chica of Oaxaca. The huipil is woven of hand spun cotton and the weave is a special textural technique. The brown color is the natural color of the native coyuchi cotton from the region. Huipiles from this region are difficult to come by and this is a fabulous example.

This was purchased from the artisan at asking price.
