Great authentic vintage Berber necklace purchased from Tiznit in the South of Morocco. These are immense faux amber beads but the patina is such that they look like they could be real, and the color and composition are fabulous!
about a 50" long with the largest bead having a diameter of over 2 inches.
These earrings are an homage to corn! Mexicans call themselves the "children of corn," descendants of people whose religious pantheon included three corn gods. Cornstalks were common patterns in ancient Mexican art and persist today in popular art. Between the Guatemalan and U.S. borders grow at least 32 varieties of corn, each with various sub-varieties, developed in response to climate and soil differences.
Sterling silver. About 1.5 inches long. Approx 7 grams.
