Gorgeous handmade and embroidered skirts from the Rabari tribe of Northern India. Very fine and expertly embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Each of them has been made with such love and attention, representing weeks of work. The price does not reflect the value of these in my opinion.
These are from a tribe in Gujarat, India where the most festive and beautiful embroidery comes from.
The waist is adjustable with a drawstring with a maximum measurement of 31". Length is 53.5 inches with a very generous flare of 148 inches.
I've tried to capture the color of the skirt as accurately as possible but reds are a little tricky. The skirt is a solid crayola red color but it may not be as vibrantly red as the pictures show, it is somewhat mellower.
