Fabulous Turkmen wool Coat with wonderful silk embroidery. The thicker ribbon used as trim here is woven with sterling silver. The lining is a gorgeous old floral pattern and the cut and workmanship are wonderful. This piece has an almost magical feel to it! It is in very good vintage condition. In a two places the dye from the embroidery silk has bled onto the rick rack, I have not tried to remove it. (see the last picture)
The model is a size S but the jacket can fit up to a size medium. Its a nice spacious cut that would allow for a sweater underneath. I have one that I wear daily!
Wonderful hand-embroidered dress from the Balochi people of Afghanistan. The cut is perfect and the embroidery is fabulous. The ultimate boho dress!
42" long and 22" wide across the chest under the armpits. The material is a nice quality satin.
Would fit up to a small size L. The model is 5' 7"
Most of these dresses come well loved. It is not uncommon for them to have small burn holes from cooking fire embers or loose embroidery threads. Please expect that. It is part of what makes them wonderful and the price is adjusted to account for overall condition. Any more major issues with the condition will be noted in the text and/ or photos.
