Vintage Rabari Long Embroidered Skirt. Hand Embroidered. 4311

Gorgeous handmade and embroidered skirts from the Rabari tribe of Northern India. Very fine and expertly embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Each of them has been made with such love and attention, representing weeks of work. The price does not reflect the value of these in my opinion.

This particular piece is extraordinarily fine beautiful and densely embroidered. It also has some silk embroidery.

Please note the slit at the waist. Snaps can be added or it can be worn with a long shirt or tunic

These are from a tribe in Gujarat, India where the most festive and beautiful embroidery comes from.

The waist is adjustable with a drawstring with a maximum measurement of 29".
Length is 32 inches with a very generous flare.
