Huge Graduated Amber Chip Beaded Necklace. Mexican Amber. Dramatic and Gorgeous!

This is a stunning necklace of graduated hand shaped pieces of Chiapas amber. T The clasp is sterling silver hook and the necklace is strung on heavy silk cord.

The weight is 538g. This is an enormous amount of amber and large pieces such as these are increasingly more rare.

Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world. The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.
