These vibrant little treasures come from the Costa Chica of Oaxaca, Mexico. The Afro-Mexican roots of the people there are reflected in the craft and dress. These are cut and carved from painted gourds. This type of work is a particular specialty of the region. We have fitted these with handmade sterling silver ear wires.
