Beautiful pieces of Mexican amber combined with lovely pieces of carved gourd that come from the Costa Chica of Oaxaca, Mexico. The Afro-Mexican roots of the people there are reflected in the craft and dress. These are cut and carved from painted gourds. This type of work is a particular specialty of the region. The ear wires are sterling silver. These look fabulous on. They have great movement, beautiful color and form and are light as a feather to wear.
