This is an old authentic (not produced for tourists and worn by naga people) necklace from Nagaland in Northeastern India. Beautiful blue glass trade beads to such a stunning and lovely effect! This necklace has many many long strands with a wonderful beaded pattern at the closure. The closure is a carved shell button.
This necklace is in very good, sturdy condition to be worn or collected.

Nagaland is home to some of the most amazing tribal dress. The Naga people practiced headhunting through the 1900s and may still in parts of Burma! Do a google image search for Naga people for a visual feast.
