Antique Naga Necklace. Red Multi-strand Necklace. Collectible

This is an old authentic (not produced for tourists and worn by naga people) necklace from Nagaland in Northeastern India. Beautiful red colored glass trade beads to such a stunning and lovely effect! A wonderful beaded pattern at the closure.

This necklace is in very good, sturdy condition to be worn or collected.

Nagaland is home to some of the most amazing tribal dress. The Naga people practiced headhunting through the 1900s and may still in parts of Burma! Do a google image search for Naga people for a visual feast.
