Balochi Multi-strand Tribal Beaded Necklaces .

Wonderful Balochi multi-strand necklace. These necklaces are strung and restrung generation to generation incorporating new beads with old beads and newly found old beads. They are a combination of glass and plastic beads but primarily glass. A wide variety of beads can be found in these necklaces. Some are quite old and some may be valuable.

17.5" long closes with a cowry shell and loop closure. The cowry shell is so thick and substantial, the likes of which I haven't seen on more recent pieces.
