Barro Negro Beaded Necklace Sphere Pendant. Vintage Zinacantan Tassel

This is a stunning necklace of large hand-shaped beads made of barro negro from San Bartolo, Oaxaca. The pendant is a thick hollow sphere accented by amber and sterling silver beads from Taxco. The hook closure is sterling silver and the tassel is a vintage tassel traditionally used in the attire of the people of Zinacantan, Chiapas.

The length is 32” around.
