Satin handcrafted "un" traditional blouse from the Tzotzil Mayan village of San Juan Chamula. I'm told these take a month to make. They require a great deal of skill because of the fineness of the detail.
This is really an incredible garment. The work is so fine and extensive.
I love the cut and the overall look.
Hand-embroidered Chamula blouses of this kind are rare now. The style has changed and most are machine embroidered.
Chest width 19 x length 26.5 inches. A size small/medium. These are intended to fit snug around the shoulders.
Excellent condition. These are very hard to come by!
