A gorgeous handwoven huipil from the Amuzgo people of Guerrero. It is made of hand spun cotton in it's natural colors. The brown is a local cotton called coyuchi and the green is algodon verde (green cotton).
Truly fine and masterful weaving and a very special garment.
This huipil is a masterpiece of an accomplished artisan I love the fineness and subtlety of this piece. Complex weaving patterns very finely woven in subtle natural hues.
This one has these measurements:
Chest 23"
Length 47"
