This is a phenomenal handwoven huipil from the Amuzgo people of Guerrero. It is made of hand spun cotton. The base is coyuchi in its natural color. Coyuchi is a native cotton grown on the coast of oaxaca. I love the earthy base with the vibrant brocade and the combination of floral and prehispanic motifs.
This huipil is a masterpiece of an accomplished artisan and a heirloom garment.
This one has these measurements:
Chest 33"
Length 42"
