A gorgeous vintage handwoven huipil from the Costa Chica of Oaxaca, home to an Afro-Mexican culture. The huipil is handwoven of soft hand spun cotton hand embroidered with the traditional double headed eagle and rooster motif. Huipiles from this region are difficult to come by and this is a terrific example.
Please note that there has been a small amount of bleeding of the pink color of the embroidery to the base. It is light and not noticeable but I have accounted for it in the price.
This one has these measurements:
Chest 25"
Length 40.5"
