Huge Amber Beaded Necklace. Graduated. Dramatic and Gorgeous!

This is a stunning necklace of huge slightly graduated hand shaped pieces of Chiapas amber.  The clasp is sterling silver hook and the silver beads are sterling silver beads from Taxco. It is an impressive and rare piece. 
Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world.  The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.  This is completely natural untreated amber.

The total length of the necklace is 46" and it weighs approximately 295g
The largest bead is 30 mm in diameter and the smallest amber bead is 16mm in diameter
