This is a gorgeous handwoven huipil from the Mixtec of Guerrero, Mexico. Until recently I had never seen huipiles of this tradition. Huipiles from this region are difficult to come by and are made by women wjo have been weaving for generations.

This was purchased from the artisan at asking price.
