Oaxacan Huipil. Nasavi Mixteco. Oaxaca, Mexico.

This is a gorgeous handwoven huipil from the Mixtec of Oaxaca, Mexico. Ancient motifs in a bright modern pallette. The back and front can be worn interchangeably. Until recently I had never seen huipiles of this tradition. Huipiles from this region are difficult to come by.

This was purchased from the artisan at asking price.
