Tree of Life Huipil. Nasavi Mixteco. Guerrero, Mexico.

This is a gorgeous handwoven huipil from the Mixtec of Guerrero, Mexico. Until recently I had never seen huipiles of this tradition. Huipiles from this region are difficult to come by.
All cotton. The motif is the Tree of Life.

This was purchased from the artisan at asking price.

This one has these measurements:
Chest 28" across
Length 30"

Please note the bleach stains. They are not noticeable but they are there and the price has been decreased.
