A complete labor of love. This jacket is made from a repurposed Balochi ceremonial dress and a Coldwater Creek brand denim jacket. The front is densely embroidered then beaded and adorned with metal beads, glass beads, buttons and real old coins.
Please note the wear on the back of the garment.
The bust of the jacket is about 19 inches across the jacket itself is 22 inches long.
This is a phenomenal handwoven huipil from the Amuzgo people of Guerrero. It is made of hand spun cotton in it's natural colors. Great color palette and design. This huipil is a masterpiece of an accomplished artisan and a heirloom garment.
