Vintage Guatemalan Huipil Linen Dress. Santa Apolonia. Hand-Woven

This breezy and beautiful dress is made from a repurposed Santa Apolonia huipil. The decoration is hand embroidered "carefully executed to look like brocade. The head and arm openings are trimmed with hand embroidered designs unique to Santa Apolonia. Santa Apolonia huipils are increasingly rare. The embroidered yoke and shoulders of the huipil have been used to adorn a white linen dress
