This is a wonderful vintage Karen Hill Tribe blouse from Thailand. I love the Karen aesthetic so lively and vibrant. Handwoven and hand-embroidered. Flattering cut design with long colorful tassels. Fits size XS-M best.
29 inches long and about 42 inches around the chest.
This is a vintage textile and may show some irregularities but this piece is in very good condition please see pictures for details. I'm told that Karen women smoke and frequently these vintage blouses have small burn holes, as this one does.
This is huipil made from an older pre 1980s Chichicastenango huipil and natural silk velvet. Absolutely phenomenal color way! The huipil is a now rare wool embroidered piece. These are no longer produced in this region.

The cost of the dress is just enough to cover the materials, the labor that went into it and the fees to sell it.
This poncho come from the Highlands of Chiapas, a village called San Andres Larrainzar. Not a traditional garment but a completely fabulous modern design using the traditional San Andres Larrainzar style of weaving. Wonderful color way.
