Vintage Rabari Wool Shawl & Throw. Mirror Work and Embroidered 0779

Each of these Rabari shawls has been made with such love and attention. These are from a tribe in Gujarat, India where the most exuberant and beautiful embroidery comes from.

The shawls are 100% wool apart from the decoration. They are toasty warm and truly fetching.

The wool is dyed once and then tie dyed again to make the all over design.

This item is probably 30 or 40 years old, at least. It is in excellent condition.
These are great shawls for cool weather or striking as a wall hanging or throw.
These are not made anymore and have become difficult and expensive to obtain!
