Gorgeous long shrug made from a vintage Rabari shawl. It has been made with such love and attention. These are from a tribe in Gujarat, India where the most exuberant and beautiful embroidery comes from.
This shrug is partially lined with silk.
The shawls are 100% wool apart from the decoration. They are toasty warm and truly fetching.
The wool is sometimes dyed once and then tie dyed again to make the all over design. This one however is all black has a very faint red underneath the blck in places. Great dense mirror work on this shawl. A very nice example of these.
measures 37" wide between the armholes and 52" long.
