Vintage Swat Valley Wedding Tunic

Wonderful wedding garment from the Swat Valley in Pakistan. Probably 70 years old. This is an unusually beautiful example and these are rare. The base is cotton and the embroidery is silk. It is embellished with all kinds of buttons. Some are quite old but it looks like they have been replaced over time, this garment has been around for generations.
